I hear this all the time from women curious about boudoir.
And the thing is, you don’t have to already feel sexy to do this. For many women, boudoir is a chance to see themselves a little differently.
I know from personal experience, and from the women who walk into my studio, that seeing that side of yourself can feel so damn good.
You might not feel sexy right when you walk in. You don’t have to.

BOUDOIR
is personal for me
Even before my body changed from having kids, I struggled with body insecurities. I have curves that some envy and small breasts that almost never need a bra (at least that’s what I tell myself).
And I've had to choose to fall in love with my body over and over again.
Boudoir has been part of that for me. Not because I suddenly looked at my photographs and thought I was perfect, but because I could feel beautiful without needing my insecurities to disappear.
That’s a big part of why I’m drawn to a personal, fine-art approach where we create a session around how you want to feel and see yourself.
Maybe that's bridal boudoir or lingerie. Maybe you want to go nude. Or maybe you feel sexiest in jeans, bare feet and a tight shirt. Maybe it’s even a combination.
It's not up to me to define what sexy should look like for you. My job is to help you figure out what feels like you and guide you every step of the way.

What Actually Happens?
FIRST THINGS FIRST
We talk before you take your clothes off
Either on a zoom or a phone call we’ll talk about what brings you to boudoir, what makes you nervous and what you from the experience. If you decide to book a session with me, we’ll choose a date, make it official and really start planning!
Your session
Come as you are
My private home studio is in Guilford, CT. We start with professional hair and makeup, some tea, and start to ease the nerves before I ever pull out my camera.
Once you're feeling good and ready to step into something a little more comfortable, it's time to make some damn good photos.
And if your first thought is, I have no idea how to pose, you’re not alone and you don't need to. I will guide you through it all, how to move through a pose to what to do with your hands, your face and where to look.
After your session, you’ll see your photographs during a private reveal and ordering appointment. We’ll pick out your favorites and figure out what you’d love to take home, whether that’s digital photographs, an album, artwork or a combination.
I'll fully edit the photographs you choose, with discretion, because I still want you to look like you.

The Reveal
Your $400 session fee includes your pre-session consultation, prep and wardrobe guidance, professional hair and makeup and your fully guided photography session. After your session, image collections begin at $1200. Most clients invest $1600 to $3400 in their complete boudoir experience.

Your photos are yours.
Your privacy matters to me. Your photographs remain completely private unless you give me written permission to share them. Many of my clients choose to keep their entire session private and that is always okay.
